This coming Tuesday Microsoft will continue to follow its patching schedule and will release no less than seven patches, four rate 'Critical' and three rated 'Important'. The important patches are set to plug in problems in Windows and Office that could lead to denial of service attacks, spoofing and 'undesired' elevation of privileges.
The critical updates will address only vulnerabilities that could lead to remote code execution. These patches will target Windows (XP SP2 and Vista), Office, Outlook Express, Windows Mail and Internet Explorer. Also this coming Tuesday Microsoft will release 3 non-security related updates. read more
