MSFN Hosting Starting from $3.95/mo - $37.92/year!
MSFN Hosting, a subsidiary of MSFN.org, was launch in the summer of 2006. Started as MSFN.org, being one of the best and fast-growing forums on the Internet dealing with everything related to Microsoft that was started as a small group back in August of 2001 and have grown to be one of the most knowledgeable forums around, McDonald's Launches Free Wi-Fi in UK Restaurants
Now you can browse Neowin AND gain weight super fast! Eh, companies don't know how to innovate these days.

McDonald's has announced plans to offer free wireless Internet access across its 1,200-strong restaurants in the UK. The move will make the fast food chain have the country's biggest provider of free wireless broadband access: it will account for about 10% of the total Wi-Fi hotspots.

There seems to be a major increase in competition for the UK's broadband market that is dominated by contract or pay-as-you-go services, where a regular hotspot user usually has to pay around 5 pounds ($10.18 ) for an hour log-on. There are around 11,477 Wi-Fi hotspots in the UK and major service providers include The Cloud, BT, and Deutsche Telecom's T-Mobile.

September, good for SiS, bad for Via
The last of Q3 and the first month of autumn has treated two of the IT industry's old timers very different. Via and SiS have both had a hard time lately but in September but at least SiS is showing signs of recovery while Via is going down still.

SiS's September revenues have went up 41.8% compared to one month before while Via's numbers have went down 7.6%. Via's sales remain significantly higher than those of SiS but at this rate the KT400 developer may be surpassed by the latter. Unfortunately for Via, it still can't get a new license for Intel's new CPUs while SiS has already received a new order for low-cost chipsets from AMD's rival.
