We're still about a week away from seeing Nvidia's press release announcing the G92-powered GeForce 8800 GTS 512 but the Green Graphics Goblin has again gotten ahead of itself. While Nvidia representatives may not say much about the new card the company's website is not that shy and has it detailed on the GeForce 8 series page.
As you can see in the picture below (if Nvidia chooses to correct the page) the GeForce 8800 GTS 512 will have a 256-bit memory interface, a 650 MHz core clock, 512MB of GDDR3 memory set to 2000 MHz and 128 Stream Processors clocked at 1625 MHz. The card is likely to cost about $349 and will be found in stores later this month.
