New Apple patent aims to better protect hearing

New Apple patent aims to better protect hearing
With music still being as loud as it is diverse the number one pod maker, Apple is working on a new technology that will hopefully stop today's youth from becoming mature individuals with hearing aids. According to an un-confirmed patent submitted by Steve Jobs' fruit basket a software is being developed so as to automatically reduce volume levels after certain periods in which loud was an understatement.

As MP3 players, and iPods in particular are growing in numbers and popularity the people's concern over potential damages to hearing due to high volume has also increased and being a good little company that it is, Apple wants to set things right. Currently there are no indications as to when would the automated control kick in and how much it will lower the volume but it seems like a decent idea that is on its way to make it into an iPod firmware update.

Aion - Tower of Eternity Class Videos Released

Aion - Tower of Eternity Class Videos Released
And for another massive Aion media update today, with no less than 7 gameplay videos that show off the game's character classes, and the action is looking just as pretty as anything you've seen on your next gen gizmo machines, with the exception of those monster PC-raping new graphics engine that shall not be named because they don't run well on our PCs.

Scroll below for an eyeful and then some of the very lovely moves on offer in the game, and join us in a chorus of protest: where are the half naked elf priestesses? Sure the game's all about demons and massive battles between the forces of darkness and light... but genre fans may well all have a collective apoplexy if you leave the half naked elf priestesses out. What do you think sold so many copies of Everquest?

Turok Dino Brutality Video

The Dinosaur Hunter is about to make a comeback, and from what we've seen of the latest gameplay video, he's bringing along a major beef against dinos. Some of the scenes are of such extreme coolness that we have no doubt PETA and other hippy, tree-hugging free enterprises will jump on the chance to sue the game for cruelty against animals. Yes, even against genetically mutated, alien dinosaurs.

Watch the video that puts the holiday cheer back into Gameconnect... well, it's got a lot of green from the jungle setting, and the dinos provide a lot of red... how seasonally charitable of them.
