Google closing in on 60% search market share
As time goes by Google's search dominance continues to grow and the company is now closing in on the 60% market share milestone. For the month of October market research firm comScore has concluded that in the US Google has reached 58.5% search share, up 1.5% compared to September while its main competitors went down.

The second place is again Yahoo's which fell 0.8% and stabilized at 22.9% while Microsoft fell under 10% to 9.7% or a 0.6% drop since September. The rest of the top 5 includes Ask with 4.7% and AOL with 4.2%. See you next month when Google may break the 60% barrier.
