Mac OS X Leopard launch is Apple's best one yet
The newest Mac OS (operating system) codenamed Leopard may have received mixed reviews but it had managed to have the best launch ever. According to the NPD Group in the first full month of sales, November 2007, Leopard's dollar volume went up by 32.8% while unit volume increased by 20.5% compared to the Tiger's first month, May of 2005.
With a steady price tag of $129 and a bundle of new features and eye candy tweaks Leopard seems to be off to a good start, one that has to be also attributed to the holiday period in which it launched and the increased Mac user base available. Congrats anyway.
