Radeon 3600 found in Catalyst 7.12

This year ended pretty quietly but things will quickly get hot and heavy in the beginning of 2008 as AMD alone will be releasing the Radeon HD 3400 and 3600 series and the dual-GPU Radeon HD 3870 X2. To 'signal' the release of the new 55nm-lovin' cards the last driver of 2007, Catalyst 7.12 includes a line referring to the new lower-mid-range line-up, the Radeon HD 3600 series and it looks a little something like this:

"ATI Radeon HD 3600 Series" = ati2mtag_RV630, PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_9598

Please note that although it includes the'RV630' code the Radeon HD 3650 and 3670 cards will be powered by the RV635. Now wait for it. read more
