Britain's Queen opens YouTube channel
In this day and age one would think a monarchy is something outdated but, as Queen Elizabeth II has just shown, Britain's Monarchy is nothing but connected to the 21st century and embracing the more popular sites on the interweb. We're not talking MySpace or Facebook here but Google's YouTube, which is now hosting the Royal Channel, the official video spot of the British Monarchy.
The channel currently holds some interesting footage from the archives and includes the Queen's first televised Christmas message which was broadcasted in December 1957. The channel will also host the upcoming message, set to go out tomorrow.
