It's that time of the day again, when yet another GeForce 8800 GT card with 1GB worth of memory gets announced. We have Sparkle to 'blame' for not going to lunch but as it is a special release unhealthy food can wait, especially as it's not every day that a passive-cooled G92 card gets released. Yes, Sparkle's newest card, the GeForce 8800 GT 1GB Cool-pipe 3 features both 1GB of GDDR3 memory (at stock clocks) and a nice passive cooler meant to keep things quiet.
Set to 'default' frequencies, the new Sparkle card offers all the performance benefits of the 65nm G92 chip and does that without making any fuss about it although it will surely require some decent case cooling.
