Chip sales continue to grow
Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA) has proudly announced that the month of September has also seen chip sales grow steadily. In September microchips sales have topped $22.6 billion, up 5.9% from the $21.3 billion one year earlier and up by 5% over August.
In the third quarter of 2007 chip sales have gone up 5.9% year-on-year from $64.0 billion to $67.8 billion and up 13.2% over Q2's $59.9 billion. For the first nine months of 2007 sales have reached $188.8 billion, up 3.5% over the $182.5 billion of the same period of 2006. More good times.
