Western Digital intros My Passport Essential drives
The world's second biggest hard drive manufacturer, Western Digital has now released a new portable drive line-up. Dubbed My Passport Essential the new series features three models, with 160, 250 and 320GB worth of storage, all lightweight and stylish.
"The newly designed My Passport Essential drives are the perfect travel-friendly storage device to hold the rich media content generated by higher resolution photos and HD videos and music," said Jim Welsh, vice president and general manager of WD's branded products group.
Equipped with USB 2.0 connectivity, the My Passport Essential drives come pre-installed with sync and encryption software.
