Atari has been in trouble for quite some time but not every part of it has reached rock bottom. While in the US Atari is looked upon with as a company that's taking its last breaths in the UK there's a different story.
According to the master of PR in Atari's UK office, Lee Kirton, the branch was doing quite well lately and is enjoying good sales on the recently-released titles, like The Witcher. The game sold over 11,000 copies and it given it is a new IP this makes for a promising future. Whether this is just very optimistic PR or simply a sign the company will get back on its feet it remains to be seen. Let's hope the upcoming Alone in the Dark game will make a very significant sales splash. read more
