The MiniMe of the 8800 GT, the 256MB version of the card is set to arrive earlier than expected and before the release of AMD's Radeon HD 3850 and 3870s. As OcUK reveals, the 256 MB GeForce 8800 GT will arrive in stores as soon as next Friday, November 9. Unfortunately, the price tag isn't attractive or the real deal as 147 pounds or $305 is quite steep and even surpasses the price of the 512MB version. No worries though, the 256MB should stabilize at sub-$200 levels.
